North Bar
North Bar, Leeds
The low ceiling and subtle lighting teamed with a friendly bar staff makes a visit to North Bar a pleasant and inviting one. This bar has something of a laid back feel. Busy at any time of day or night, North bar is famous for its staggering selection of beverages. The music is eclectic but steers clear of the more dancey soundtrack of a lot of bars in central Leeds.

This is one of my favourite bars in Leeds! The place has a ridiculously varied selection of top quality draft and bottled beers, with so much variety that I rarely have the same beer twice! The atmosphere is exceptional, with local art on the walls, good music, and an inviting and cheerful staff. They also have free WiFi and serve a legendary "Bottomless Coffee"! Visit once and you'll always want to come back for more!

There is definitely a regular clique here, but they are not of an unfriendly nature. The drink selection is different and very good. The music is soulful and funky. All in all, another break from the usual city bars and well recommended. Be prepared to stand though!

Although my memories from North bar tend to be a bit blurry (I had to try their strongest cocktails and beers, and it is no small selection) I remember an excellent atmosphere and friendly bar staff allowed to have a beer with the guests themselves. It is small and hardly as fashionable as the large venues, but intimate... and quite excellent.
