| Once the proud owner of Leeds 'crown of cheese' Majestyk went into overdrive to prevent itself from being forgotten amidst the staggering amount of new venues cropping up all over the city. Realising that Baja and Bondi were aggressively attempting to corner the pop party atmosphere Majestyk once prided itself on, it did a 360 and headed down the RnB trail. Past events have included the MTV Lick parties with Trevor Nelson and the showcasing of UK garage acts such as Mis-teeq. However, an era came to an end in 2006 when Majestyk closed down with a pending prospective new development on the horizon for the club. |
