| Chris, who got to number one in the States with his first single �Run It!�, which made number 2 in the UK, is coming to Leeds to judge the final heat of the �Chris Brown Gimme That Dance off Competition�, a reality show that has taken MTV by storm. The competition has been running on MTV Base for the past three months and the winners of the final will be given the �once in a lifetime� opportunity to become one of Chris Brown's backing dancers in the video for his latest single �Gimme That�.
Galaxy DJ and monthly resident at Discotheque's Friday night - Pashion, Steve �Smooth� Sutherland will host and DJ at the event, with Chris performing live. The event will be MASSIVE and will be the biggest RnB coup for Discotheque and for the Leeds music scene this year. MTV will film the heat which is due to be screened on the show. Galaxy will broadcast the event across the entire Galaxy Network throughout Steve's show. Discotheque's Friday night Pashion is establishing itself as the RnB hotspot of the North, attracting DJ's such as Shortee Blitz, Mista Jam (Jay Z's tour DJ) and with dates in the diary for Trevor Nelson makes it the perfect venue for this exclusive event. At just 16, Chris is already making his mark, being compared to Michael Jackson, Usher and Tevin Campbell, although his style and flavor are most definitely unique. His first single �Run it� was released in 2005, it went to number one for 5 weeks in the US, it was also a success in New Zealand and Australia where it got to number one, reaching number 2 in the UK.
